STEPS for Kids is in search of energetic, passionate, and playful therapists who are interested in being part of a dynamic team that focuses on intervention, empowerment, and advocacy for children and families. Our approach emphasizes relationships, play, and skill building to help each child have successful therapy outcomes and for that success to continue well after therapy ends. Using the child’s strengths to support challenges and helping parents understand their child even better are hallmarks of our approach that results in each child achieving their potential
IMMEDIATE NEED: Part-time/PRN Speech-Language Pathologist, 5-12 hours per week. Flexible scheduling for after school and Saturday hours available. Varied diagnostic caseload with children ranging from birth through 21 years, including articulation disorders, language delays, pragmatic language disorders, feeding disorders, and oral-motor conditions. Current opportunity is for in-person services at our Yorkville clinic and teletherapy services as needed based on clinic demands. Experience with AAC, feeding, and/or DIR/Floortime preferred but not required. Opportunity for growth in caseload and participation in program development is available for the right candidate
IMMEDIATE NEED: Part-time/PRN Occupational Therapist, 5-12 hours per week. Flexible scheduling for after school and Saturday hours available. Varied diagnostic caseload treating children from birth through adolescence, with neurodevelopmental disorders and related conditions including ASD, ADHD, LD, DCD, behavioral health conditions and physical disabilities. Experience with SI assessment and interventions, trauma-informed care, and/or DIR/Floortime preferred but not required. Opportunity for growth in caseload and participation in program development is available for the right candidate.
IMMEDIATE NEED: Part-time/PRN Physical Therapist, 5-12 hours per week. Flexible scheduling for after school and Saturday hours available. Varied diagnostic caseload treating children from birth through adolescence, with neurodevelopmental disorders, orthopedic concerns, motor coordination disorders, neuromuscular disorders, and injury related needs. Opportunity for growth in caseload and participation in program development is available for the right candidate, with support for professional development in areas of passion and interest. Pediatric experience preferred; will consider a strong new grad.
Immediate opening for LCSW to join our team of experienced and passionate pediatric therapists. Part-time position with opportunity to grow to full time caseload, supporting children and families within the context of our whole child approach. Caseload primarily ranging from 3 years through adolescence with varied diagnoses. Ideal candidate will have experience with individual, group, and family services and be highly motivated to support our clinic’s growth through expansion of our mental health services. Experience in DIR/Floortime, play therapy, and interdisciplinary treatment with OT/ST/PT are preferred but not required.

Part time positions are paid at hourly rate commensurate with experience for each position and do not include benefits. Benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid time off, and continuing education support is available to full time staff.
